Band of Brothers is based on the novel of the same name by historian and biographer Stephen Ambrose. It is a 10-episode television series with the theme of World War II.
It was co-produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who worked together on the Academy Award-winning film Saving Private Ryan.
