Benediction (2022)

It focuses on the turbulent life of WWI poet Siegfried Sassoon. Siegfried Sassoon, who survived the horrors of fighting in the First World War and was awarded a medal for bravery, was a complex man who, upon his return from military service, vocally criticized the government's continued warfare. His poems were inspired by experiences on the Western Front and he became one of the leading war poets of the time.
