Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020)

Ma Rainey, known as the mother of the Blues, is preparing a new album. Rainey reunites with his band at a recording studio in Chicago to prepare for the album. Meanwhile, Rainey enters a battle of wills with her manager and producer over control of her music. The conversations between Ma Rainey and the group during the meeting cause the tension to rise.
