Romeo + Juliet (1996)

What a tragedy it would have caused if the epic love story of Romeo and Juliet took place in the contemporary world. It is the same, but this time the swords will be replaced by modern weapons with "sword names".

The events take place in today's Florida. In the movie, Romeo (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet (Claire Danes) are the children of two enemy families of the city. As a result of a tragic accident, two young people fall in love with each other and try to find an escape amid the families' war.
