The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

Edmond Dantes is a sailor who has devoted his life to water. He is on the eve of marrying Mercedes, a very beautiful girl. However, he suddenly finds himself in prison because of the actions of one of his closest friends, Fernand, who is in love with Edmond's lover. Fernand has made some very cunning plans to take over Mercedes. Dantes, now a prisoner, has only one goal left. This is the pursuit of the people who escaped from prison and caused him to be there.
