Paul Edgecomb's mission in prison is to send prisoners sentenced to death on their last trip. He executed hundreds of prisoners over the years he worked. One day, he meets a scary-looking man named John Coffey. However, under this scary appearance of Coffey lies a very pure spirit. Coffey is on trial in the murder case of two young girls.
