The Lives of Others (2006)

The film is about the intelligence service established throughout the country in order to maintain the constitutionalism of the government and the games that Captain Gerd Wiesler, who works in an important position in this unit and is assigned to follow an artist by the Minister. Wiesler sees that the theater writer he watches over does not oppose the regime, does not take any suspicious action, and realizes that this task underlies another purpose.
