Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017)

Missouri is based on a mother who wanted to enlighten her daughter's murder. Months after being found not guilty in her daughter's murder trial, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move. With a controversial message to the city's venerable police chief, William Willoughby, he rents three billboards on a remote road in the city. The war between the grieving mother and the security forces will intensify when the name of Dixon, the chief's right-hand man, who is the son of a violent, childish mother, gets involved.
