Villains with superpowers pose a great danger to the world. Emily Stanton, a scientist, works on giving people special powers. Meanwhile, Emily's paths cross again with her childhood friend Lydia, whom she has not met for years. When Lydia, looking at Emily's work, becomes the first subject of treatment because of her clumsiness, Emily and Lydia form a team to protect the city.
