More than a thousand years before the events in the first Underworld, two supernatural races come to life; Both races descend from the different sons of Alexander Corvinus, the first Immortal: Vampires carrying the blood of Mark become graceful, aristocratic, cunning bloodsuckers; Werewolves, carrying the blood of William, on the other hand, turn into predatory beasts that have no trace of humanity, insatiable for violence.
